The error Critical_Process_Died, blue screen of death in Windows 10 generally occurs when a critical component of Windows detects that some data has been modified. It could be errors reading the driver from the hard drive, error in memory, driver that got jarred loose from its connector, corrupt data in memory and another driver is writing to memory that does not belong to it.Sometimes this error can be quite critical as it could damage your hard disk, memory or in rare circumstances, your processor.
I would suggest you to download and install all the latest chipset drivers and Hardware Driver update from the manufacture's website.
Solution #1. System File Checker
Type cmd in start search box and right click on cmd, select Run As Administrator. In the Command Prompt Window, type sfc/scannow and hit enter. The sfc utility will run for a while and if any corruptions are found, it will replace them in the next reboot.
In case you're unable to start the System file checker and get the error "Windows resource protection could not start the repair service", type services.msc in start search and hit enter. The status of this service should be set to Manual.
Solution #2. DISM Tool
In the Command Prompt (CMD) type the following command one by one.
dism/online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism/online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism/online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
The last command will get a good copy from the Microsoft update server. It will also remove certain license validation hacks.
Solution #3. Fix in Safe Mode
On the Windows login screen, click on power, press and hold Shift key, click on Restart. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings and click on restart. Now your PC will be rebooted and show advanced boot menu, select command prompt and type sfc/scannow, press enter. Wait for a few minute, when command is successful, restart your PC.
Solution #4. System Restore
Click on Start button > Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore and choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver or update and then select Next > Finish.
